The Richmond Walking & Book Festival starts one month today on Saturday 24th September 2016! We've nearly 40 Walks to chose from through the week starting on the Saturday with the Classic Calver Circuit, Visit to Altberg Factory/Walk to Willance's Leap, Walk to Easby Abbey and Frenchgate Walk; the first Written Locally event in Castle Hill Bookshop with Illustrator/Author Gill McLean and Egyptologist Professor Joann Fletcher talking in the evening. The Festival Committee are seeking a volunteer to act as Secretary to the Festival. The role will include producing agendas, taking minutes, monitoring key actions, dealing with general correspondence and supporting the Chair and other committee members.
